DocCelerator is restructuring for the Spring 2023 editions.  The series now runs in two different versions to provide structured story input to documentary makers in all stages of development and production.

After conducting 23 editions of the DocCelerator workshops, the series is now being restructured, based on the demands and requests from the over 200 participants, who have taken part in the workshops. For the Spring 2023 season DocCelerator runs in two different versions, being DocCeleratorStory and DocCeleratorWorkInProgress.

DocCeleratorStory is for projects in development. Here participants will define and develop the key structural narrative elements of their story.

DocCeleratorWorkInProgress is for projects with already shot material or a rough cut. Here participants will get structured feedback on their recorded material, and then use it to strengthen the story and distribution options.

The Spring 2023 season of DocCelarator has the following dates and deadlines:

Dates: February 27-28, 2023. Deadline: January 26.

DocCeleratorWorkInProgress

Dates: March 29-30, 2023. Deadline: March 1.

DocCeleratorStory

Dates: May 10-11, 2023. Deadline: April 12.

ABOUT DocCelerator 

DocCelerator is an online documentary workshop series launched by Paradiddle Pictures in May 2020. The format run by Geoffrey Smith and Ove Rishøj Jensen, has received a lot of interest and positive feedback from documentary makers world-wide. All DocCelerators are project-based workshops taking place online. The length of each workshop is two days and can accommodate 4-6 selected project teams.
